Deep learning forthe moving image.

Whyda Studios builds AI tools and custom deep learning pipelines for film and production studios, from first draft to final grade.

Every frame of cinema started as a technical problem. We are a deep learning studio that solves those problems so the people behind the camera can stay on the story.

Flagship products

Three ways to see footage differently.

Shotloom

Previz to final. One prompt.

Describe a scene. Shotloom's agents break it into shots, lock your cast, block the whole sequence as a previz animatic, then render each shot on the model best suited to it, judge every take and assemble the keepers.

Live

Capturejoy

Ask your footage a question.

Every camera from an event, understood. Guests find themselves with one selfie, and anyone can search the night in plain words. Highlight films cut themselves.

Kinetix

Video that knows who is in it.

One API to index footage by face, place, speech and meaning, in Indian languages and English. Query with a sentence, a face, a location image or all three.

The workshop

Built here.
Tested on
our own sets.

Every tool started as a problem on one of our productions. If it survived the shoot, it became a product.

Filmkraft

A co-writer that thinks like a screenwriter.

Lock your logline and your anchors. An inner critic rereads every page, and nothing in your script changes until you accept the diff.

Motion Studio

An AI director on your timeline.

A local motion graphics studio where an AI director and a human editor work on the same timeline. Frame-exact renders, beat sync, generated sound, and a bridge into Blender.

Cut2Cut

A native editor that renders on the GPU.

A desktop video editor written in Rust. Timeline, scene detection, LUTs and curves, and captions transcribed straight from speech.

Holdout

Mattes that hold up in a close-up.

A neural keyer trained on real production plates. Holdout pulls clean alphas through flying hair, motion blur and sheer fabric, kills spill at the source, and can separate a performer from a plate shot with no screen at all.

  • Hair-level alpha
  • Motion blur aware
  • Spill removal
  • No screen needed
  • EXR and ProRes out

The lab. Where the next tools are trained.

Lumen

Neural relighting

Move the light after you wrap.

Trained on light-stage captures, Lumen re-renders key, fill and colour temperature on finished footage, while keeping skin and eyes physically right.

Afterimage

Film restoration

Sixty-year-old negatives, back in colour.

A video diffusion model that removes scratches, flicker and grain, then rebuilds lost detail and colour frame by frame, guided by the surviving print.

Vaani

Performance dubbing

One performance. Every language.

Vaani re-voices an actor in another language using their own voice, then re-times the lips and jaw to match, so the performance survives the dub.

Splat view

Set capture

Scan the set once. Shoot it forever.

A phone walk-through becomes a Gaussian splat of the whole location, so you can block, light and re-frame reshoots without going back.

Also training

ThrongCrowd synthesis
Fill a stadium with fifty thousand distinct, reacting people. No extras, no tiling.
AgelessNeural de-ageing
Take an actor fifty years either way, mid-line, with the performance untouched.
HorizonSet extension
Build one doorway. Pull back to reveal the city around it.
DaybreakTime and weather
Shoot at noon. Deliver the scene at night, in the rain, with every reflection right.
PuppetPerformance transfer
A performer's every move, carried into a creature twice her size.

Custom AI for your production.

We sit with your team, find the slowest part of your pipeline and build the model that fixes it. Then we hand you the keys.

Development

Find the story faster

Script analysis, coverage and breakdowns on your own slate, with writing tools that keep the writer in charge.

  • Script breakdowns
  • Coverage at scale
  • Story-aware co-writing

Pre-production

See the film before you shoot it

Locked characters, location plates and style keys, then storyboards and animatics that stay consistent from the first panel to the last.

  • Character locking
  • Style keys
  • Previs and animatics

Production

Know what you shot, while you shoot it

Every take transcribed, tagged and searchable by face, line or place before the unit wraps for the day.

  • Dailies intelligence
  • Face and line search
  • Continuity checks

Post

Cut through the footage, not around it

Search hundreds of hours like a database, assemble selects automatically, and run custom models for cleanup, grade matching and VFX prep.

  • Selects and assemblies
  • Grade matching
  • Custom cleanup models

Release

Trailers, reels and every format in between

Promos, cutdowns, vertical edits and motion graphics packages, produced fast enough to keep up with a release calendar.

  • Trailers and promos
  • Vertical cutdowns
  • Event reel kits

We direct the models. Nobody directs the director.

Directors direct.

Our tools propose. People decide. Nothing lands in a script, a cut or a frame without a human accepting it.

Every frame has a paper trail.

Each generation records its model, prompt, references and cost, so a producer can audit a shot the way they audit a budget.

Consistency is the product.

Locked faces, locked locations, locked looks. A character has to look like themselves in shot one and shot two hundred.

Your footage stays yours.

We train on your material only when you ask, run on our own GPUs or yours, and never feed client work into public models.
